4 C flour
1 C sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
2 C shortening
4 C oatmeal or rolled wheat
Sift together all dry ingredients except oatmeal. Mix in the sugar. Cut in the shortening until mixture forms fine crumbs. Add oatmeal or rolled wheat. Mix well. Store in a tightly covered container.
